Mary Elle Fanning (born in Conyers, Georgia) is an American actor best known for performances in films such as Phoebe in Wonderland and The Neon Demon. Fanning was born in Conyers Georgia. Fanning is the sister of actress Dakota Fanning. The actress' career started in the early years of her life. Her first performance was the well-known miniseries "Taken" and was directed by Steven Spielberg. Fanning was the older sister of her character. As she grew older Fanning began taking the roles she was not able to take from her sibling. In fact, at nineteen, she was in the movie 'Phoebe In Wonderland', in which the role of the protagonist was played by actress Fanning. Her performance was outstanding which earned her a lot of fame and acclaim. She also appeared in films, such as The Door in the Floor as well as 'I Want Someone to eat cheese with'. Her stunning looks and incredible acting talents her career quickly established her as an upcoming young actor. The first time she was awarded an award was at age thirteen.
